Acceptance
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and getremotejobs. By creating an account, posting content, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Accounts
You must be at least 16 to create an account. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Let us know right away at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Service except through endpoints we explicitly offer for that purpose.
- Misrepresent your identity, your employment history, your employer, or the role you are hiring for.
- Send unsolicited outreach, spam, or bulk messages through the platform.
- Attempt to circumvent rate limits, access controls, or candidate privacy protections.
- Upload malware, exploits, or content that violates another person's rights.
- Use the Service for discriminatory hiring practices, including but not limited to screening based on protected characteristics.
Your content
You retain ownership of everything you upload — your resume, your notes, your saved searches, your candidate data. By uploading, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service for you. This license ends when you delete the content or your account.
You represent that you have the right to upload the content you upload, and that your content does not infringe anyone else's rights or violate applicable law.
Recruiter terms
If you use the Service to source candidates, contact candidates, or manage a hiring pipeline, additional rules apply:
- You will respect candidate privacy preferences. Candidates who opt into recruiter discovery have not waived their right to be free from harassing or deceptive outreach.
- You will use contact details candidates share with you only for the role they expressed interest in, and only for as long as the conversation is active.
- You will comply with all applicable employment and anti- discrimination laws in your jurisdiction.
- We may suspend or terminate recruiter accounts that violate these rules. Candidate-reported abuse is reviewed by our trust team.
Job listings
Most job listings on the Service are ingested from public company career pages and remote-job aggregators. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or availability of these listings. If you post a paid listing, you are responsible for the accuracy of the listing and for compliance with applicable laws (including equal opportunity, salary disclosure, and location-specific rules).
Fees & billing
The job-seeker side of the Service is free. Paid tiers (recruiter plans, agency plans, and paid job postings) are billed according to the pricing shown on /pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically on the same calendar day each cycle unless you cancel before renewal. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Intellectual property
The Service itself — the software, design, data model, and branding — is owned by getremotejobs. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service. Nothing in these Terms grants you any rights to our trademarks.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from your profile page. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we are required to do so by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your rights to use the Service end, but sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive (including “Your content,” “Disclaimers,” and “Liability”) will survive.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Match scores, candidate rankings, and AI-generated summaries are estimates, not guarantees. You are responsible for the hiring and career decisions you make using the Service.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, neither getremotejobs nor its officers, employees, or suppliers will be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim or (b) one hundred US dollars.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app and via email to signed-in users at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
