About the Role
We’re looking for high-performing current high school students, college students, or recent college graduates who have been part of the Empowerly community to join us as Marketing Interns (Student Ambassadors).
This is a unique opportunity to:
Gain hands-on experience in marketing strategy, event execution, and business development
Work directly alongside Empowerly's founders and executive leadership
Help other students and families discover opportunities that shaped your own journey
You’ll play a key role in driving awareness, referrals, and community engagement.
What You'll Do
What You’ll Do
In-Person (30%)
• Attend local Bay Area events and represent Empowerly to prospective students and families
• Share your personal Empowerly story in an authentic, compelling way
• Build community connections and drive awareness at live events
Remote (70%)
• Collaborate with the Empowerly Team on planning and executing events
• Connect 1:1 with prospective families via virtual calls and outreach
• Create engaging social media content (TikTok, Instagram, etc.) that reflects your experience
• Support broader marketing campaigns, webinars, and outreach initiatives
• Share feedback and insights on what students and families care about
Who Should Apply
Current high school students, college students, or recent graduates
Past or current Empowerly students required
Currently residing in (or willing to travel to) Bay Area required
Strong communicator with a natural ability to influence peers
Active in school, campus, or online communities
Entrepreneurial, proactive, and reliable
Bonus if you:
Hold leadership roles (clubs, organizations, etc.)
Enjoy creating content or storytelling
Are interested in business, marketing, or startups
