Junior Data Scientist

**Pay:** $150-$200 per hour (USD). Role Title: Junior Data Scientist Role Type: Contractor Location: Remote **About the Role** micro1 is partnering with a leading AI lab to hire data scientists and quantitative professionals from top companies. You'll bring rigor to how AI models handle statistics, machine learning, experimentation, and quantitative reasoning. **Scope of Work** 1. Evaluate AI model outputs on data science, statistics, ML, and quantitative problems 2. Create expert-level prompts, datasets, and reference solutions 3. Identify flawed methodology, statistical errors, and weak quantitative reasoning 4. Provide structured feedback that improves model capability **Preferred Qualifications** 1. At least one year of experience working at a top company (tech, finance, or research), with at least part of this experience within the past 3 years 2. Based in an English-speaking country 3. Clear written communication of technical and statistical concepts
