Blockchain / Smart Contract Engineer

You will design smart contracts, payment systems, staking mechanisms, node reward systems, and blockchain integrations that enable trustless compute infrastructure. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about decentralized systems, cryptography, and Web3 infrastructure. ## Key Responsibilities * Design and develop secure smart contracts * Build staking and node incentive systems * Implement decentralized payment infrastructure * Integrate wallet and blockchain functionality * Develop on-chain verification mechanisms * Collaborate with infrastructure engineers on node coordination * Conduct testing, auditing, and security reviews * Optimize gas efficiency and contract performance * Build APIs and backend integrations for blockchain systems * Stay updated on emerging blockchain technologies ## Required Skills & Experience * Strong experience with Solidity, Rust, or smart contract development * Experience with Ethereum, Solana, or EVM-compatible ecosystems * Understanding of cryptography and blockchain fundamentals * Experience with Web3 frameworks and tooling * Familiarity with wallet integrations and token systems * Experience writing secure and tested smart contracts * Strong backend engineering skills * Knowledge of blockchain security best practices * Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows ## Nice To Have * Experience with decentralized infrastructure platforms * Experience designing token incentive systems * Smart contract auditing experience * Layer 2 or cross-chain experience * Experience building DeFi or infrastructure protocols * Open-source contributions in Web3 ## What Success Looks Like * Secure and scalable smart contract systems * Reliable node rewards and staking mechanisms * Low-friction wallet and payment integrations * Secure decentralized coordination systems * Minimal vulnerabilities and strong audit readiness ## Employment Type * Full-time * Remote
