2D Artist (Krita)

**Pay:** $20-$70 per hour (USD). **Job Title:** 2D Artist (Krita) **Job Type:** Contractor **Location:** Remote **Job Summary:** In this role, you'll apply your Krita expertise to help train next-generation AI systems for 2D Artistry. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. Leverage strong Krita skills to create high-quality 2D illustrations, assets, and graphics. 2. Demonstrate proficiency with Krita’s brushes, layers, and vector tools to deliver polished visual solutions. 3. Produce simple 2D animation sequences and project files using Krita. 4. Follow end-to-end workflows to ensure that all project requirements and timelines are met. 5. Collaborate via written and verbal channels, clearly articulating creative ideas and feedback. 6. Contribute domain expertise to support the training and refinement of AI models focused on artistic tasks. 7. Ensure all deliverables align with the customer’s specifications and creative vision. **Required Skills and Qualifications:** 1. Proven experience with Krita, including brushes, layers, and vector functionalities. 2. Strong portfolio of 2D illustrations and graphic design work, demonstrating advanced artistic ability. 3. Solid understanding of end-to-end project workflows within Krita. 4. Ability to create and deliver simple 2D animations in Krita. 5. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a detail-oriented mindset. 6. Basic knowledge of animation principles and their application in 2D projects. 7. Capability to work independently, manage time effectively, and contribute to a remote team environment. **Preferred Qualifications:** 1. Active involvement in the Krita community or open-source projects related to 2D art. 2. Portfolio showcasing personal or collaborative Krita-based projects. 3. Experience supporting or mentoring others in a digital art capacity.
